Stat-wise, other than Faith, you want to focus on having just enough strength and dex to wield the weapon you want to use (I like the claymore and mirdan hammer), 15 Intelligence for the MP to cast important miracles, and then put the rest in Vitality and Endurance. Both the Crescent Falchion +1 and Blessed Mace +1 are excellent starter weapons for a Faith build (Keep in mind that Shrine of Storms part 1 also has the Adjudicator's Shield, which is vital to Faith builds), but I would also recommend going through the hell that is the second part of the Valley of Defilement (5-2 ...Ok, so I am still pretty much a newbie to this game. So far I beat 1-1, 2-1, and 4-1. I am playing as basically a pure Mage. My question is for a Mage is it worth it to build any other stats besides Will, Magic, and possibly vitality. I am especially interested in Faith as it seems there are some level 16 faith miracles that are worthwhile. .
